[MPlayer-dev-eng] Audio/video synchronization

hello,

many newbies qustions:
1, mplayer can modify audio/video offset (+/- 100 ms).
why 100 ms, we can change it easily? 

2, to understand Mplayer's sychronization mechanism,
what files is most important for a begin. mplayer.c?

3, I've see a CMplayer (Cluster Player) in Mailing
list. Anyboday kown what it become now? there si any
release recently?
