www1 webserver is offline and will probably stay so, it's not because
of technical problems; the www was redirected to a mirror (www2 or
www4, i don't remember exactly).

I just updated MPlayer webpage with instructions to manage mailing
lists with mail, maybe it sould be done also on ffmpeg pages.
