I understand what you mean. I'm sorry I don't have newer informations 
about that bug as I haven't been home for 2 days now.
You can be sure that I will try to compile a fresh MPlayer snapshot 
ASAP, and should it work, try to track down the problem with something 
like a recursive diff beetween both directories.
In other words, I think I screwed up my MPlayer directory, that's why I 
have this problem, but since other people had that problem in the past 
too, I'm gonna try to see what caused that problem.
