Still not quite as fast as libmpeg2, but the 'fast' option brings ffmpeg
within 5% of libmpeg2's speed.

BENCHMARKs: VC:  28.466s VO:   0.026s A:   0.000s Sys:   4.177s =
32.670s 

I re-ran this test several times to be sure the results are consistent.
