You could hack the python-based reportbug package, which is very
convenient, to suit mplayer's needs.

There's a pretty good mail interface to Bugzilla from Mandrake:
Mails with [Bug ???] in the Subject: are send as followups on the
certain bug, mail attachments are copied over as bug attachments
and resolutions and alike can be changed with keywords in the mail
body (e.g. @resolution=fixed) to close a bug.

I forgot where it's exactly located; there's a posting on the bugzilla
mailing lists where some Mandrake guy announces it's CVS location.
