iam not sure about the suggested change, as already mentioned it may 
complicate the muxer
so why should nut use both count,entry, ... and entry, ..., marker style?
they are used in different situations

1. when the entries are all similar and the same size, the count should be 
used so the demuxer can do a simple malloc and store them in the array

2. if the entries are variable size and somewhat unrelated, the count doesnt 
simplify the demuxer as it very likely wont simply store them in an array but 
more likely in specific data structures (bitmapinfoheader vs imagedesc), at 
the same time it will complicate the muxer though because if our assumetation 
of the data structures is correct it will be more difficult to find the count

so iam slightly against the change
