Yes we do :-) OTOH, if it's to _choose_ the display (and
not to span on two display), the easy workaround is
to enable mirroring of the display. Works fine with
vo_sdl on an external TV.

Well, honestly, I think that direct YUV output is
much more important, as it will make mplayer faster
for everyone. Some machine that are too slow ATM will
be able to play demanding files.

But it's your time so it's your call :-)
