Ok, can u tell me more about your plans for supporting chapters list ?
If I understood, what's annoying is just the "jump to..." function of my patch
which display tracks/chapters of VCD/DVD.

If you want I can only send you a patch that enables launching VCDs and DVDs
from the menu without any additional features (patch is nearly done, even for DVDs).

Think the condition argument I added in the menu_cmdlist.c may also be added to
the preferences menu. In fact, many options don't need to be displayed if
MPlayer hasn't been compiled with VCD or DVD support.
