[MPlayer-dev-eng] RealVideo-RealAudio Playback from Matroska

How does mplayer playback RealVideo files, does it demux the RM file and
handle the decoding through Real's dlls or does it feed the Real dll's the
filename and receives the decoded data?
I've written a muxer that takes a RealVideo/RealAudio file and extracts the
data packets and places them unaltered into a Matroska file.
Would it be possible to modify mplayer to playback the RealVideo/RealAudio
data from the Matroska file?
