I have an Pentium 3 500 with a TNT 2 32 MB (that's much less then a geforce4)
and never had problems with playback of any files. ( except with the mpegpes 
files my dvb tv card generates. )

well, it's been more than a year ago since i last checked but at least it 
proves that it CAN work ok.
