Hi,

The new audio filter layer will automatically insert a conversion
filter if your filter doesn't support the current format. To request a
specific format edit the af_data_t->format variable during the
AF_CONTROL_REINIT call in your config function. For example of how
this is done see af_resample.c on line 216. The best format to request
is AFMT_S16_LE which is the default format in all other audio filters.
