hi,
i just didn't know where else to say this so i'll say it here and hope i hit 
the right people.
i stumbled over mplayer on one of those computer mag cd-s. tried it, liked it.
just works. plays everything i've thrown it so far. excellent.
what i find a just a little irritating is that the red hat rpm refused to run 
in my susy 8-0. and without the rpm i found updating from pre5 to pre6 a 
little tiresome. but that's nothing in comparison to the fun i am having 
alrady.
many many thanks to all who made this possible, you are heroes!!!.
