[MPlayer-dev-eng] debugging mplayer with gdb on irix

Hi,

does anyone experience the same problem as I am having when debugging mplayer 
with GDB on IRIX 6.5?
I follow the stept in the bugreport.html file, but whatever way I start 
mplayer from within gdb, I always immediately get the error "Signal ? does 
not exist on this system." and then the whole thing seems to hang.

Makes it pretty hard to debug.

I am running on an o2 r5000 180 MHz with 128 MB ram running IRIX 6.5.17m
