Yes! But it requires additional arguments for further decoding ahead development:
get_image(frame_num) and get_image(DEFAULT_FRAME);
Also! I would be more than happy if someone will implement sh_video_dup
function with fdopen functionality.
(I found out that libmpdemux is most undocumented stuff of mplayer).
