hi guys,

i've been trying to demux the subtitles with the file that someone attached
to a reply on may 20th. i extracted the delphi project file and compiled it
under windows. except one warning that a variable might not be initialised
everything worked fine. now the syntax was given as:

oggdemux <inputfile.ogm> <streamid> <output.srt>

since video is usually stream 0 and audio stream 1 i concluded that the
subtitle stream is stream 2. when i start oggdemux though the output seems to be
written to the screen and not to a file, and worse, the demuxing stops after
three lines with the message "how many bad lines are there ?" (see below)

E:\>oggdemux test.ogm 2 out.srt

What do you mean?
55891

You won't see Rushitu
How many bad lines are there?

obviously if you go through the delphi code, the demuxer interprets every
line as 'bad' and after nine lines, as indicated by the code, quits the
processing with the "how many ..." message. im not so sure what the integer numbers
stand for - i think it is the time index ????

am i missing something ? anybod tried out the oggdemuxer yet ??? does it run
only under linux (properly). please help me if you can - youll find the
delphi code and the original message under the following link:

thank you very much!
