I don't want to grow size of mplayer's package upto infinity.
These "C" sources which are produced by awk will never be modified by hand.
So for what we need to have them if they are not human's product?
3 month ago sources of mplayer could be fit into floppy.
But now it requires HDD.

SED and AWK are for the same goals.
But why LFS?
You could build own linux.
