Hi,
Anyone against releasing pre6 today night?
(pending/unfinished patches, uncommited thing,s doc updates etc)
the code in CVS seems to be stable now, many pending bugs were fixed
yesterday and past week.
i've just applied teh raw DV and libdv-based DV audio/video decoder patch,
also the PPC endianess fix for mencoder. i've also applied directfb updates
and live.com support patches too. is there any unapplied but
important patch out there?
about teh Gui... thanks to Pontscho, known busg were fixed, so it seems to
be stable/usable now. what about making GUI rpm's too?
at least it reached the state when it's no more alpha, but beta, and needs
some testing by users.
i would suggest that pre6 will be a.k.a. rc1, and if no fatal bugs found,
re-relasing it as v0.90 stable in a week. yes, i know i said teh same for
pre5, but you know how many problems pre5 had...
anyway yesterday night i've fixed the 'eof at 66s' bug of .rm demuxer, now
it plays most .rm files without problems. support for non-cook audio codecs
is still missing, i'll do it now, at least try. shouldn't be hard.
