[Mplayer-dev-eng] --prefix troubles

It's the Question that drives us, André Dahlqvist :
> install -g root -o root -m 755 -s mplayer /home/andre/apps/bin
> install: cannot change ownership of `/home/andre/apps/bin/mplayer': Operation not permitted
It should perform UID checking, and if UID != 0 , don't try to change
the binary's owner/group.
Needs fixing.
