[MPlayer-cygwin] How to Compile Mplayer ONLY for slave mode ?

Thanks Erik,
Can you please point me to something which will tell me how I can use the
file you sent me to compile mplayer as a DLL. I am doing this for the first
time.
Currently I am following the instructions from this page to compile mplayer:
http://www1.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/win32/contrib/MPlayer-MinGW-Howto.txt
This really seems to be a big process :) But I am almost at the second lasat
step right now :)
Please do let me know what I need to change to compile as a DLL.
