[MPlayer-cygwin] Can't get winvidix to work

Hi,

I downloaded and built mplayer-1.0pre5 under cygwin on WindowsXP
and have been trying various options.

The PC has a Radeon 9000 video card and I was hoping to use the
'vidix' capabilities of mplayer. I built 'dhasetup' and used it
to install 'dhahelper.sys' in \windows\system32\drivers

I am guessing that the 'radeon_vid.so' file under 'mplayer/vidix'
will support the video card.

However, when I run:

mplayer.exe -vo winvidix -verbose 3 file.mpg

I get

No vidix driver name provided, probing available ones (-v option for
details)!
vosub_vidix: vidix_preinit((null)) was called
vosub_vidix: Couldn't find working VIDIX driver
Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.

A few questions:
- Does the radeon_vid.so file support the Radeon 9000 video card?
- Am I using the 'winvidix' options correctly?
- Do I need to enable some option during configuration to enable
winvidix?

Thanks,
Harshal
