It's possible with Apache since forever and with svnserve since version
1.3. We run 1.2.3 on mphq.

I'm just saying that there was a precedent. Anyway, the way I
understood it the SoC repositories were supposed to be throwaway.
AFAICT not all projects will get finished, but this is of course just my
limited understanding.
