I _think_ this problem is a different one and was fixed before. But it
fixes e.g. mf://*.png -vo null.
But why I did it mostly is that I always got complete nonsense when I
forgot to specify -vo xv (I use -vo gl by default).
Now it doesn't work at all with vo gl, but that's still better IMHO
Well, actually it works if you do -vf cropdetect,scale, since MPlayer
only tries to insert colour-space conversions at the beginnning :-(
The same applies to e.g. -vf spp as well...
