yes, i've find that 'joe' only displays 79 chars of text, and always left
the last 80th char empty. dunno why...

anyway you said it's 79, i said it's 81, and it's 80...
no one of us hit :)

please, instead of arguing about 79 vs 80 vs 81, please avoid unneeded
line re-wraps when possible. do it only if you had to insert or remove long
words. it makes diff readable, and less conflict
it's somewhat the same as running 'indent' on the c sources just for fun,
without any reason
