Linux version revision number? My MEncoder is svn-37905. How old is your

Unfortunately, these are the only languages for the doc files:

That is a big drop from, let's say, a 5 GB DVD. What resolution are you
using and -xvidencopts are you using? Quality could be bad.
Encoding with the Xvid codec:
