[MEncoder-users] Can't compile mplayer - no libavcodec - FIXED - now it's broken

Hi,

I am having problems using ac3 encoding using the latest svn from
sourceforge build (33216) (and others). I am using -lavcopts
acodec=ac3:abitrate=384 -channels 6 and all I get is buzzing.

I am encoding to avi and mediainfo shows the ac3 track (this is all under
windows).

Upon playback mplayer complains about 'exponent out of range'.

What am I going wrong?
