Hi Carl,

I'm curious:  Is there any real reason to use MEncoder these days when ffmpeg 
is available?  I haven't tried ffmpeg but since MEncoder is no longer 
maintained I'm considering it. Is there something MEncoder would do that ffmpeg 
won't?
