For me using todays mplayer with no options shows

FPS seems to be: 29.970030 and if I framestep I need to press "." twice
for each frame.

mplayer -demuxer lavf shows

VIDEO: [H264] 1920x1080 0bpp 59.940 fps 0.0 kbps ( 0.0 kbyte/s)

and framestep works normally.

I can't tell whether it would try and play double speed as my old PC
can't even play this at 30fps.

mediainfo shows 29.970 fps
