OK - I searched the web - found lots of entries how to convert DVD ->
H264 ... but what I would like to have is how to convert h264 transport
stream to a format that can be used for a DVD - afaik I will need mpeg-2
to have best quality.

So a different strategy means I just need another command line / filter
setting, or a completely different approach ?
