[MEncoder-users] Using mencoder to add a watermark assistance

We are using mencoder to encode a mp4 file to a m4v file for inclusion on a
flash video preview website. We are currently using these options for -vf:

-vf scale=$width:-3

We need to be able to add a watermark to this as well. I have read thru the
docs and can see the bmovl=hidden:opaque:fifo option, but really dont quite
know how it works... can someone assist here? We have the watermark file as
a PNG at this stage.
