[MEncoder-users] ac3 reencode-channels confusion

Update:


It should be: 

-af channels=6:6:0:0:1:1:2:2:3:3:4:4:5:5


So it is numbered from 0-5.

Playing around with these settings make effects, but I couldn't find the right settings up to now.

Strange enough, mencoder still gives the message:

although every channel is mapped.

But

leads exactly to the same output.:


Forcing output FourCC to 44495658 [XVID].
[channels] Invalid routing in pair nr. 5.
[libaf] Reinitialization did not work, audio filter 'channels' returned error code -2
Error at audio filter chain pre-init!




I will try to play around a little as well, maybe me the blind will see something. As far as I know the only ac3 encoder which can do frame rate conversion from PAL to NTSC besides mencoder is the old windows tool BeSweet. Maybe as a first work around I use this with wine in between.
