[MEncoder-users] No OSD for mplayer for new Mac OS X installation

I just performed a clean installation of an OS X 10.5.6 system and used the
latest MPlayer SVN. Functionality for mplayer is normal except for on-screen
display. Fontconfig appears enabled in the config.mak file, but when I
execute "mplayer -fontconfig" I'm warned that mplayer was configured without
fontconfig support. I remember having received error messages in the past if
I didn't have a subfont.ttf font file or symbolic link in my mplayer custom
config folder, but I'm not getting any kind of error now unless I include a
font configuration option in the config file. Anyone have a fix? Thanks.
