[MEncoder-users] divx2pass.log always disappearing

Hello,

When I enter the command :

mencoder   -aid 129 -oac copy -vf crop=704:560:8:6,hqdn3d=2:1:2 -ovc lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=760:v4mv:mbd=2:trell:cmp=3:subcmp=3:mbcmp=3:autoaspect:vpass=1 film.vob -o  /dev/null

there is a divx2pass.log file at beginning but it always disappear when
it is achieved.

same behavior when I add
-passlogfile pass1stats.log 
or 
-o film.avi

So I can't make the second pass...

2pass failed: filename=divx2pass.log
FATAL: Cannot initialize video driver. 

or
2pass failed: filename=pass1stats.log
FATAL: Cannot initialize video driver.

What's the pb ?
