[MEncoder-users] Preview while encoding

Hi all,
I'm currently sampling some old video cassttes using
MEncoder and a video capture card. MEncoder produces greate results,
but the problem is that I don't know when to stop the encoding, since
there is no preview on the screen. Is it possible to make MEncoder show
a small monitor window, even updating once per several frames?
