As I saw in the original posts, that's out of the MPEG standard. Is
possible to do it in a "hard" way? This is: instead of storing a 24fps
film and let the DVD player do the work of telecine, do it in mencoder,
and store a 100% standard 25fps film.

How should I use it? I mean... If I have a 24fps AVI file and want to
create a 25fps MPEG-2 file, what happens with the -fps and -ofps
parameters? Should do I do:

	mencoder -fps=24 -ofps=25 -speed=4 ...

or

	mencoder -fps=25 -ofps=25 -speed=4 ...

or

	mencoder -fps=24 -ofps=24 -speed=4 ...

Thanks.
