[MEncoder-users] How to count frames ?

  I want to recode small piece of bigger material to test some
capabilities. Simply I do:

mencoder -oac pcm -ovc lavc -frames 100 -o output sar-19.05.2007.nsv

 but mencoder processed 197 frames. Where I'm wrong ?
