[MEncoder-users] Problem with mencoder and DVD.

I use

mencoder dvd://1 -oac copy -ovc copy -of mpeg -ss 0 -endpos 30 -o prueba.mpg

for copying the 30 first seconds from title 1 of DVD.

When I playing this movie with Windows Media Player its duration is 0:00.
Why?

I use DirectShowLib for watching the new movie in a aplication. I know that
for this reason my aplication fails.

Anything idea?
