[MEncoder-users] Mencoder FLV assistance

Hi

 

I have googled and read the manual (which is unusual for me) but cannot seem
to get the output of an avi down.

 

The call I am using is as follows

 

mencoder 112.avi -noskip -mc 0 -o ../flvideo/112.flv -of lavf -oac mp3lame
-lameopts abr:br=56 -ovc lavc -lavcopts
vcodec=flv:vbitrate=500:mbd=2:mv0:trell:v4mv:cbp:last_pred=3 -vf
scale=320:240 -lavfopts i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_frames
-srate 22050

 

The avi is 18Mb but the output .flv file is 25Mb.  Is this usual or can I
scale this any better?
