[MEncoder-users] index failure

For some reason my encodings are not creating proper indexes...
Whenever I try to fast forward or rewind I get this:

Cannot seek in raw AVI streams. (Index required, try with the -idx
switch.)

options:
-vf harddup -oac copy -ovc x264 -x264encopts 
qp=22:subq=6:partitions=all:8x8dct:me=umh:frameref=5:bframes=3:b_pyramid:weight_b:direct_pred=auto:turbo:pass=1

-vf harddup -oac copy -ovc x264 -x264encopts qp=22:subq=6:partitions=all:8x8dct:me=umh:frameref=5:bframes=3:b_pyramid:weight_b:direct_pred=auto:pass=2 


Any ideas why?
