Depends on where you're reading that value...  In fact, that's
why I thought it was dropping any number of frames at all, when, in
fact, it is not.

Mencoder reports 775, although there really only seems to be 773 in the
video as reported (both fret_test.mpv and output.avi) by -vo md5sum.
