I mainly use below for NTSC TV captured movies

-vf pullup,softskip,crop=704:352:8:64,scale=640:352,hqdn3d=4:3:6,pp=l5,harddup

pp=l5 is for TV subs, and also for reducing TV noise.

-ofps 24000/1001 for AVIs.
-ofps 24.000 for rawvideo .264.
this is for mp4box. It wont accept 24000/1001 or 1001:24000, and when
I use 23.976, it makes 23.975fps movies.
