[MEncoder-users] sound problem with 3gp encoding

I use mplayer to play 3gp file. video is shown correctly but no sound 
available. how to fix it?
the error message box show:
  Cannot find codec for audio format 0x62776173.

I use debian (kernel 2.6.15 testing) and install mplayer from deb 
repository listed in mplayer website.
