i've got a batch of wmv's provided that i'm trying to convert to xvid.
the problem is, some of the wmv's work fine without -mc 0, and some need
it. when i use -mc 0 with the ones that work fine without, they lose
a/v sync.
is there any way to get a reliable set of options that will always
preserve wmv sync?
here's the command line i'm using:
$mencoder $in -o $in.mp4 -aspect 16:9 -of lavf -lavfopts
format=psp:i_certify_that_my_video_stream_does_not_use_b_frames \
-oac lavc -ovc lavc -lavcopts
aglobal=1:vglobal=1:coder=1:vcodec=mpeg4:acodec=aac:vbitrate=300:abitrate=128
\
-vf scale=374:214,crop=368:208:3:3,pp=fa,harddup -ofps 30
-jsd-
