[MEncoder-users] vcodec=h264

I recently learned that "h264" was an accepted value for the vcodec option
of -lavcopts. This raises several questions:

- Why isn't it in the man (current SVN)? Was it just forgotten, or is it
  undocumented on purpose?

- How is it possible to give H.264-specific options, like 4x4mv?

- Is it a call to x264? A fork of x264? A new implementation from scratch?
  The log at the end certainly looks like the one from x264.
