  check this out.
  usually i would play divx first and xvid second, and then compare results. moments ago i played xvid first and divx second - and got oposite results! xvid was played with more saturation, while divx video was reproduced ok.
  final test is to play two of a kind at the same time, which i did, and got expected results - the one played first was extra saturated. i ran this test on two divx, two xvid, two mpeg2.
