[MEncoder-users] segmentaion fault while encoding jpg to avi

Hay

the following problem shows up on two different machines: 
Suse 9.2 MEncoder 1.0pre6-3.3.4
FC 3 MEncoder 1.0pre6-3.4.2

using: 
mencoder mf://[1-2].jpg -mf w=256:h=512:fps=25:type=jpg -ovc 
lavc -lavcopts vcodec=mpeg4 -oac copy -o output.avi

mencoder exits with a segmentation fault:

The last word is german for segmenation fault. Adding more images doesn't 
improve the suituation.
