[MEncoder-users] Encoding problem with NUV files

I'm attempting to encode some videos captured by MythTV to save space but
it doesn't seem to want to work.
Running mencoder 1047_20050310220000_20050310230000.nuv -ovc lavc
-lavcopts
vcodec=mpeg4:vbitrate=600:vhq:vqmin=2:vlelim=-4:vcelim=9:lumi_mask=0.05:dark_mask=0.01
-vop scale -zoom -xy 320 -oac mp3lame -lameopts abr:br=128 -o
1047_20050310220000_20050310230000.avi where the filenames are changed per
video, yields an abundance of errors as follows:
[mpeg4 @ 0x84feb48]releasing zombie picture
[mpeg4 @ 0x84feb48]get_buffer() failed (stride changed)
Error while decoding frame!
It just repeats this over and over again until mencoder either segfaults
or just plain stops without any message at all. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
Little info: Running KnoppMyth, latest version, MythTV 0.17 and MEncoder
1.0pre5-3.3.4. Thanks again.
