OK, good catch. The script uses MPlayer for streaming and piping. When
trolling about encoding things, what was I thinking? ('menc'vcd > 'menc'oder
   :-) ).

Right, please understand I've tried umpteen different programs. I tried the
TOOLS directory, then dvd::rip (fun with dependencies) then the rest of the
web.

I do my utmost to stay on topic, then I failed to mention divx2svcd crashed
when vcdimage-ing any random .avi (on stock Slackware 10.0,
vcdimager-0.7.19, mPLAYER-1.0pre6a).

What's the difference between vcd and svcd? I have a 1h 20m show I can put
on a full vcd but how much does a svcd hold? It goes to have 50% less items
to debug please.

Regards,

Roger A.
