Quite the opposite.  The SI prefixes are being completely ignored by the
whole world...  This is consistent with MPlayer.  Saying mplayer is
wrong in using KB is implying most everyone in the world making computer
software is also wrong.

I haven't used it in years, but I'm pretty sure Microsoft Windows still
uses GBs/MBs/KBs just like it always has.  No doubt OSX is the same. 
Certainly every Unix utility uses the same system.  If MPlayer devs are
wrong for using the terms just as everyone else uses the terms, yes, you
are saying the rest of the world is wrong, except you... (and NIST)
