[MEncoder-users] Cutting mpeg2/avi

This is similar to other tools i found on the net.
With all of them you have to process video and audio separately and remux 
them manually.
My cron does a lot of capture from DVB every day, so i'd prefer to gain 
time with a totally automatic tool.
If i have to type somethink on the console i prefer to use mencoder with -ss 
and --endpos.
(just for this i thinked to use edl in order to mark begin/end, but edl is 
working only with avi, as i use mpeg the number in the file are quite 
random!)

So again, is there somethink similiar to VirtualDub with cut/merge and full 
automatic save? even if i have to pay for it!!!!
