[MEncoder-users] Compilation problem: ./configure cannot find x286

Phil and Jeff: Thanks for your help!

I compiled from CVS and it worked. The Mplayer CVS version recognized
the last x264 version!

Unfortunately, the new Mplayer won't the mjpeg videos (from my
digital camera) that I wanted to reencode with x264. I'm getting
reproducible seqmentation faults. I will send a bug report to Mplayer-users...
